Humanos Human Resources Management
The 1st cycle-degree course in Human Resources Management aims to train skilled professionals in human relations, particularly in labour contexts. Thus, graduates acquire knowledge and management skills and abilities, development and organization of human resources of companies and of other public or private organizations, namely in the following areas:
a) Work planning and organization;
b) Recruitment, selection and human resources integration;
c) Performance evaluation;
d) Training tools organization.
The graduates in Human Resources Management are qualified to work in the following areas:
a) Industrial and services enterprises, namely in human resources department;
b) Business recruitment and selection
c) Organizations of development and regional and local planning;
d) State administration, in the administrative and advisory sectors or in the human resources departments;
e) Liberal professions (audit, consultancy, recruitment and selection, vocational training,etc)

To apply to the first cycle of studies, students must fulfil the following conditions:
- Have successfully completed a secondary course + entrance examination required (One among the following: Economics, History or Portuguese)
- Applicants aged over 23 (Decree-Law 64/2006, of 21 March)
- Transfer of institution, re-entry and change of course.

- 1st phase – 1st June to 27th July
- 2nd phase – 8th August to 14th September
Applicants aged over 23
- Application : till 28th April
- Interview: 14th and 15th May
- Written exam:17th May
Transfer, re-entry and change of course applicants
- 1st phase: 1st June to 13th July
- 2nd phase: (just for left over vacancies):3rd August to 3rd September
