The main skills of graduates in marketing and adThe 1st cycle degree in Marketing and Advertising aims to train multifaceted professionals, with scientific and technical qualifications with strategic vision in order to act in key business areas of companies or other institutions, contributing to the external and internal dissemination of their image, products and services. The graduates in Marketing and Advertising are qualified to perform the following tasks particularly at the level of:

b) Advertising management;
c) Commercial management;
d) External relations;
e) Marketing consultancy;
f) Direct marketing.

To apply to the first cycle of studies, students must fulfil the following conditions:
- Have successfully completed a secondary course + entrance examination required (One among the following: Economics, History or Portuguese)
- Applicants over 23 years old (Decree-Law 64/2006, of 21 March)
- Change of institution, readmission and change of course.

Applicants who hold a secondary course + entrance examination
- 1st phase – 1st June to 27th July
- 2nd phase – 8th August to 14th September
Applicants aged over 23
- Application : till 28th April
- Interview: 14th and 15th May
- Written exam:17th May
Transfer, re-entry and change of course applicants
- 1st phase: 1st June to 13th July
- 2nd phase: (just for left over vacancies):3rd August to 3rd September
