PHOTOGRAPHIC JOURNEY - Naumen ao Douro Vinhateiro

The Nature Tourism is a tourism product consists of establishments, activities, entertainment environmental services and housing. The term "nature tourism" appears as name of a specialization of tourism aimed at the promotion and affirmation of the values ​​and potentials in closed spaces belonging to the National Network of Protected Areas.

In accordance with paragraph 2 of resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 112/98 "Nature tourism involves the integrated practice of diverse activities, ranging from the enjoyment of nature with a ride to the practice of hiking, climbing, caving, orienteering, biking or horseback riding, water activities and underwater, among others, into contact with the rural environment and local cultures through their cuisine and ethnographic demonstrations, thematic routes, including historical, archaeological and or dining, and stay in traditional houses "(in: RCM n º 112/98 of August 25, DR-I Series B No. 195).

In this context Quercus - Regional Center of the Guard and Junta de Freguesia de Numão will undertake the completion of the pedestrian "From Naumen the Douro Wine Region" in the village of Numão the importance of natural values​​, landscapes and unique cultural inherent, integrated part in Alto Douro Wine Region - UNESCO World Heritage Site.
