About Erasmus+ programme
Erasmus+ is the EU's programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe.
Run by the European Union (EU) the programme provides opportunities for students to study or gain work experience while completing a degree, helping them develop and share knowledge and expertise at institutions and organisations in different countries.
The aim of Erasmus+ is to contribute to both the Europe 2020 strategy for growth, employment, social equity and inclusion and ET2020, the EU's strategic framework for education and training.
Erasmus+ also aims to promote the sustainable development of its partners in the field of higher education, and contributes to the achievement of the objectives of the EU Youth Strategy.
Erasmus + gives young people the opportunity to improve their key-skills, like proficiency in foreign languages, communication, adaptability to learn, to live and to work with people from different countries and with different cultures.
Erasmus + programme comprises, among others, the following types of mobility:
→ Student mobility for studies;
→ Student mobility for traineeship;
→ Staff mobility for teaching;
→ Staff mobility for training.
