Blended Intensive Programme 2026
OUTCOMES:
The European Commission underlines the absolute need to ensure quality, inclusivity, and sustainability in a world that is constantly changing and that demands from our youth the need to be involved in local, national and global actions. The competencies related to the awareness of intercultural in(ter)ferences on a European democratic society encapsulate knowledge, skills attitude and behaviour.
On completion of this course, students will have acquired the following goals:
An understanding of a European collective identity, particularly on the respect for intercultural diversity;
A promotion of digital skills along with an accurate sense of multicultural networking;
A development on the understanding of a rapidly evolving world;
A more effective management of social and entrepreneurial (eco)systems;
An ability to cooperate, individually and in a team, in a sustainable and permanent growth.
Description of the contents:
The future of Europe faces enormous challenges. In this context, it is mandatory to our institutions of education to ensure that all learners acquire the knowledge and skills needed to promote a sustainable development that stresses the importance of sustainable lifestyles, human rights, gender equality, a culture of peace and non-violence, global citizenship and appreciation of cultural diversity and of culture’s contribution to increase a European intercultural mindset.
Facing this premise, acknowledging the (eco)systems that build a society helps young people to aspire and to create impactful achievements in order to answer to a competitive and so many times not committed world. The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, reflects the importance of a more sustainable attitude towards the others and stresses the constant need of adaptability to the world, in general, and to Europe in particular. Education provided by institutions has to be the mirror of this interchangeable skills and attitudes to foster a skilled and supporting society, especially through initiatives that promote innovation on the complex thread (economics, international relations, digital competencies, just to mention some key actions) that generates fully conscious and resourceful citizens.
