Artigo 1.º
Natureza e objeto

A Percursos & Ideias é uma revista científica que desenvolve a sua atividade nas áreas próprias dos cursos do Instituto Superior de Ciências Empresariais e do Turismo (ISCET) ou em áreas afins, cujos objetivos, estrutura e funcionamento se encontram regulados no presente estatuto, podendo ser desdobrada em cadernos temáticos com designações que assim os identifiquem.

Artigo 2.º
Conteúdo

Os artigos a publicar na revista terão de ser originais e serão sujeitos a pareceres de especialistas de reconhecido mérito, segundo moldes definidos em regulamento próprio.

Artigo 3.º
Difusão

A revista, publicada em suporte eletrónico ou em papel, é distribuída gratuitamente às entidades definidas pelo ISCET e pela sua entidade instituidora, podendo ser também vendida mediante um preço a fixar por assinatura e número avulso.

Artigo 4.º
Destinatários

A revista pretende constituir-se como uma referência científica e um meio de comunicação entre a comunidade científica em geral, investigadores, docentes, estudantes, empresários, profissionais e responsáveis institucionais nas áreas da sua abrangência.

Artigo 5.º
Propriedade

A revista Percursos & Ideias é uma publicação propriedade do ISCET.

Artigo 6.º
Funcionamento e tutela

A revista Percursos & Ideias funciona no âmbito do Centro de Investigação Interdisciplinar e de Intervenção Comunitária (CIIIC) e sob a tutela do Conselho Técnico-Científico (CTC).

Artigo 7.º
Órgãos

São órgãos da revista Percursos & Ideias:
• O diretor;
• O conselho editorial.

Artigo 8.º
Diretor

1. O diretor é, por inerência, o presidente do conselho técnico-científico do ISCET.
2. Compete ao diretor:
a) Aprovar o regulamento interno;
b) Nomear e destituir os membros do conselho editorial e os especialistas (referees);
c) Propor ao diretor do ISCET as entidades a quem se distribuirá gratuitamente a revista bem como o seu preço avulso e de assinatura;
d) Aprovar e dar execução às linhas de orientação estratégica da revista, depois de ouvido o conselho editorial, o CIIIC e o CTC;
e) Manter em sigilo os nomes dos autores dos artigos recebidos até decisão de publicação assim como os que não sejam publicados;
f) Deliberar sobre quaisquer assuntos que não estejam previstos neste estatuto e no regulamento ouvindo, sempre que necessário, o conselho editorial, o CIIIC e o CTC.

Artigo 9.º
Conselho editorial

1. O conselho editorial é composto por doutorados e especialistas distribuídos pelas várias áreas científicas da revista.
2. Os membros do conselho editorial são nomeados pelo diretor, ouvido o CIIIC e o CTC, pelo período de três anos, renovável.
3. Compete ao conselho editorial:
a) Avaliar os artigos proposto para publicação, pronunciando-se sobre a adequação dos mesmos aos objetivos e critérios de qualidade científica da revista;
b) Coadjuvar o diretor na definição das linhas de orientação da revista de forma a salvaguardar a sua qualidade, coerência e objetivos.

Artigo 10.º
Autonomia

A revista Percursos & Ideias tem autonomia editorial e será dotada de orçamento próprio a suportar pela entidade instituidora do ISCET e por receitas próprias.

Artigo 11.º
Interpretação

A resolução de quaisquer dúvidas e interpretações suscitadas com o presente estatuto são da competência do diretor da revista que, para o efeito, poderá ouvir o CIIIC e o CTC.

Artigo 12.º
Publicidade

Do presente estatuto será feita a devida divulgação, estando o mesmo sempre disponível para consulta pelos interessados.

 
Artigo 13.º
Entrada em vigor

O presente estatuto entra em vigor na data da sua publicação.

Statutes
Article 1
Nature and Purpose

Percursos & Ideias is a scientific journal operating in the fields covered by the degree programmes of the Higher Institute of Business Sciences and Tourism (ISCET) or in related fields, whose objectives, structure and functioning are regulated by these statutes; it may be divided into thematic sections with designations that identify them as such.
 

Article 2
Content

Articles to be published in the journal must be original and shall be subject to review by experts of recognised merit, in accordance with the procedures set out in specific regulations.
 

Article 3
Distribution

The journal, published in electronic or print format, is distributed free of charge to the entities designated by ISCET and its founding body; it may also be sold at a price to be set for both subscriptions and single issues.
 

Article 4
Target Audience

The journal aims to establish itself as a scientific reference and a means of communication between the wider scientific community, researchers, teachers, students, businesspeople, professionals and institutional decision-makers in the fields it covers.
 

Article 5
Ownership

The journal Percursos & Ideias is a publication owned by ISCET.
 

Article 6
Operation and Supervision

The journal Percursos & Ideias operates within the framework of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research and Community Intervention (CIIIC) and under the supervision of the Technical and Scientific Council (CTC).
 

Article 7
Governing Bodies

The governing bodies of the journal Percursos & Ideias are:
• The editor-in-chief;
• The editorial board.
 

Article 8
Director

1. The Director is, by virtue of the position, the Chair of ISCET’s Technical and Scientific Council.
2. The Director is responsible for:
a) Approving the internal regulations;
b) Appointing and dismissing members of the editorial board and experts (referees);
c) To propose to the Director of ISCET the organisations to which the journal is to be distributed free of charge, as well as its single-issue and subscription prices;
d) To approve and implement the journal’s strategic guidelines, after consulting the Editorial Board, the CIIIC and the CTC;
e) To keep the names of the authors of articles received confidential until a decision on publication has been made, as well as those of articles that are not published;
f) To deliberate on any matters not provided for in these statutes and regulations, consulting, where necessary, the editorial board, the CIIIC and the CTC.
 

Article 9
Editorial Board

1. The Editorial Board is composed of PhD holders and specialists from the journal’s various scientific fields.
2. Members of the Editorial Board are appointed by the Director, after consultation with the CIIIC and the CTC, for a renewable term of three years.
3. The editorial board is responsible for:
a) Assessing articles submitted for publication, determining whether they meet the journal’s objectives and criteria for scientific quality;
b) Assisting the director in defining the journal’s editorial guidelines in order to safeguard its quality, consistency and objectives.
 

Article 10
Autonomy

The journal Percursos & Ideias enjoys editorial autonomy and shall be provided with its own budget, supported by ISCET’s founding body and by its own revenue.
 

Article 11
Interpretation

The resolution of any queries or issues of interpretation arising from these statutes falls within the competence of the journal’s director, who, for this purpose, may consult the CIIIC and the CTC.

Article 12
Publicity

These statutes shall be duly publicised and shall always be available for consultation by interested parties.
 

Article 13
Entry into force

These statutes shall enter into force on the date of their publication.
